Those words were the biggest surprise of the Supergirlpanel at Comic-Con Saturday,Watch Project Power Online as the showrunners teased a Season 3 that looks certain to get as dark for the girl of steel as Season 3 of the TheFlashdid for that hero.
"The theme of Season 3 is 'what does it mean to be human?'", said new showrunner Jessica Queller. "All of the characters will be exploring that question, especially Kara."
The Supergirlpanel also confirmed that Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant will return as a regular character, and that Heroesstar Adrian Pasdar will play a highly topical real estate tycoon villain.
Supergirlreturns to the CW October 9.
