Former Alibaba Vice President Hu Chenjie has recently joined the Chinese open-source technology company Open Source China (OSChina) as its Chief Strategy Officer. Its code hosting platform Gitee provides services for 10 million tech developers, 260,000 enterprises, and over 2,000 higher education institutions, according to the firm. Hu, who has a background as a software engineer and a code writer for more than a decade, joined Alibaba in 2016.
